Trot Salt - Carburation} Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}11/JH.7.5.40. re Rippletto Radiator. File Referring to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}11/GH.6.5.40. warning us that you will require 6 weeks at least to get a radiator made for Rippletto. We are not able to start the design of this radiator in as much as we require a 42 m.m. matrix. Harrisons do not provide such a matrix and and we shall have to go to some other source of supply. We pointed this out at a meeting held in Derby to discuss design matters on April 20th. Report reference Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/JS.{Mr Johnson's Secretary}22.4.40. contains a note headed radiators as follows . 'CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} will line up with Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards} the various materials for the range of chassis to be built.' We would like particulars of the matrix you propose to use in the first Rippletto car so that our design can be made to accommodate it. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
