<6007> E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. c. to Ey/RD. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.12/MA.19.9.33. FUSE FOR S.U. ELECTRIC PETROL PUMP. We have carried out tests to determine the value of the fuse it is proposed to fit to the S.U. Petrol Pumps. This fuse can be conveniently the same as the dynamo field fuse, the maximum current it will ever have to carry, apart from fusing conditions, being approximately the same as the dynamo field current. The maximum standstill current for each pump is 2.75 amperes at 12 volts. This standstill condition can only occur if the petrol tap is off and the pumps left switched on. The pumps then have a temperature rise of 45°C. as measured on the pump carcase. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
