10th. January 1939.

Messrs. John Marston Ltd.,
WOLVERHAMPTON.

For the attention of Mr. Dunn.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephone conversation of last night, the fourth radiator ordered under our Order No. 79512 is to be a Bentley V standard unit, as per the drawings for which you have supplied production quotations, except for the following:-

(1) No shell or grille is required - the inner radiator only to be supplied with its fittings.
(2) The matrix is to be 1.000" less in overall height than the Bentley V drawings indicate - this will necessitate straps etc. 1" shorter.
(3) The yoke, straps and all steel parts are to be in Duralumin wherever possible.
(4) Top tank modified to a drawing which we will send you within a day or so.

We would like to receive the complete unit within three weeks from this date - if you can expedite the delivery still further we shall be obliged if you will do so.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
