To: Les/JTW/HB.{C. E. Harcombe} c: JFB. SF/Str. 2/ESJ. 29.3.56. MOHAIR RUGS. Owing to the difficulty experienced recently in obtaining Rugs from Turners in special shades to match our various carpets, we have discussed with JFB the question of accepting rugs from the standard range and he has agreed the following standard rugs will be acceptable against our carpets as indicated. Rug Ref.No. Carpet Ref.No. 646 Almond Green. Green 2048. 325 Fawn. Chatsworth No.7.Fawn. 615 Maroon. Maroon 105. 617 Saxe Blue. Blue 98. 444 Copper Beige. Brown 7249. We shall in future, order rugs from this range for the above carpets. There is only one of our carpets and that is the Grey 414 for which JFB would not accept any of the standard patterns - this will still have to be obtained as a special to match the carpet unless you can obtain further patterns of Grey which will be acceptable. Regarding the question of alternative suppliers for these rugs, it was suggested that we ask Park Ward from whom they obtain rugs for their motor cars and we find these come from Boyriven. Would it be possible please to let us see some Boyriven patterns. SF/Str. | ||
