[Stamped] re Radiator Thermostats

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter on the above subject.
We note from your remarks that the smaller (R.V.60) Thermostat, is of ample power; we also note that you require a Thermostat which will develop an equal thrust, at a temperature, approximately 10 degrees, (Centigrade), higher.
This can easily be done, and we suggest, that in order to avoid the making up of further costly samples, you might send us one or more of the instruments you now have, so that we may alter the filling.
We now have your order and delivery instructions, for a quantity of the R.V.60 instruments, for which we thank you.
Are we to assume that these are to be supplied with the present filling, or shall we suspend delivery, pending a settlement on this point.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. S.Smith & Sons (Motor Accessories) Ltd
