Thank you for your reports.

We do not quite know how you are situated with regard to English and Pattinson, but if the job is in a position to be left we should like you to return to Derby.

21-G-IV will be ready to come out shortly, and there are a number of points on the Ph.III which we should like to discuss with you.

We are glad to know that Pattinson is progressing satisfactorily.

We note your remarks re the exhaust system and are somewhat concerned with the boom, because we have tried this set up on two big bore Bentleys here and have not experienced the trouble. It is of course just possible that the fact that the silencer was new and your other one had got well carved up may have made some difference. We shall be interested to hear your further comments on it both with and without the fish tail.

We have taken care of the snout fouling the road and it is being raised up on production.

Is the Hardy Spicer prop. shaft O.K. ?
We are thinking of standardising it.
