BEARING RIG.

Will you please measure crank journals and AC.7 main bearings which have been run on the above in W.Bell's dept. and returned for inspection.

Following measurement and "Taping" of the journals, fit a set of die-cast AC.9 bearings still retaining the existing rear whitemetal bearing.

To be re-assembled and run on the rig for the same time and conditions as the previous AC.7 bearings in order to obtain a direct comparison of the metals.
