Following measurement and "Taping" of the journals, fit a set of die-cast AC.9 bearings still retaining the existing rear whitemetal bearing. To be re-assembled and run on the rig for the same time and conditions as the previous AC.7 bearings in order to obtain a direct comparison of the metals.
