Referring to Ry15/J.19.11.34, we do not think it necessary to scrap any of the existing 20/25 pistons, either unmachined castings or in process of manufacture. We would suggest, however, that no more castings are made until the completion of our 10,000 miles run on 21-G-IV, when we shall be in a position to say whether the long skirt piston appears to be an advantage over the present 20/25 size.
