PEREGRINE AND BENSPORT.

We are carrying out modifications to the existing head fitted to the engine, in order to try and improve the cooling of the sparking plug. It is also proposed to cast a modified head to be used with the 14 mm. plug which will allow better water spacing. This engine is very valuable in obtaining information for the Bensport. As far as we have gone we think we have sufficient proof to know that it is possible to get a push rod engine to run as fast as we require.

We have a power-plus blower and a scheme is in hand to fit this on to the engine. With this arrangement, we should be able to anticipate the Bensport performance and difficulties.

We are proceeding with the building of the Peregrine chassis and expect to have the completed car by the end of this month.
