rewd S.G. Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/MA.5.9.34. SPARKING PLUGS BENTLEY CHASSIS. Referring to your Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}21/HR.29.8.34., the Lodge plugs removed from B.158-AH, have all failed due to the external mica washers on the plugs working loose. This plug, of course is now not standard on the Bentley chassis. With regard to the K.L.G. plugs the six plugs removed from B-21-AE we found to be electrical OK. but had very wide plug gaps. The one plug removed from B-17-AE was found to be dead shorted. We are taking up the question of this rapid electrode erosion with the K.L.G.Co., accordingly. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
