Steering issues with pivot pins and yokes, proposing material trials for improvement.

-2- The pivot pins and yokes on 27.G.V1. were changed recently and the steering with the previous pair of pins was very light, presumably because the pins had not picked up. It therefore seems that if we can overcome the picking up trouble the steering will be satisfactory. The cast phosphor lead bronze thrust washer at the lower end of the pin appears to be satisfactory under high load densities so bushes of this material may be satisfactory.
