Road Wheels - cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}

30° used on 'B' series 200 chassis.

Rear Springs - Front Anchorage.

Threaded Shackles not to be introduced until after the 1st. 300 chassis.

Front Spring Suspension.

Forged steel main lever housing with simplified machining.
GW.742 Housing is cancelled.
GW.2061 required to suit revised method of machining GW.2051/2 Main Lever Housing.
Note: Parts GW.742 are being reclaimed, by shrinking on a sleeve, for use with forged steel main lever housings).

Petrol Tank.

Revised run of pipe to increase room in luggage boot.
The tanks produced for use on the 1st 24 chassis are to be used up, revised run of vent pipe to be introduced as soon as possible.

Side Steering Tube.

Modification required to prevent knocks when cornering.
Existing parts to be fitted to the 24 chassis, and changed over when necessary.

Dynamo and Regulator.

36 slot armature type dynamo.
No decision taken as to introduction of the new dynamo due to lack of opportunity for testing.

Ignition coil.

1st. 24 chassis to be fitted with RR. coils.

Exhaust System.

Existing silencers to be fitted to 1st. 24 chassis and changed later.
Experimental are to investigate change from 3" diameter centre tube to 2½" diameter tube in view of tooling difficulty.
Experimental to confer with RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/Wld.
Stainless steel downtake pipe to be re-introduced .
Stock of mild steel tube to be retained for future use.
