Dear Mr Hives,

I feel a bit shaken after my crash, so am taking things easy for a day or two.

The car is a "write off" also the telegraph pole which it hit. The engine which is mainly cast iron is split asunder also the gear box.

I was rather lucky I think to get off lightly, luckily there was no passenger.

Things are going on nicely at the R.A.E. I will be in the works on Monday next before returning to Farnboro'.
