Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has requested me to write to you to see whether it is possible for you to engage or supply us with a stenographer who knows English and French, for the work at Châteauroux.

We require someone with a good knowledge of French so that in case of any trouble arising we are better equipped to deal with such matter. We should be much obliged if you could let us know at an early date, as we expect to be returning in approx. 10 days time.
