WELL BASE RIMS AND TYRES.

We were discussing Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/mmg/LG9.2.26 (headed K.M. Hydraulic Shock Absorbers) at the Sales Conference yesterday, and one of those present suggested that possibly your paragraph 3 and your reference on page 2 as follows:-

"This confirms our previous experience with these particular tyres, either the wobble is eliminated or it is present in a violent form."

referred only to the use of well base rims and tyres when used jointly with K.M. hydraulic shock absorbers, and that when the well base rims and tyres were used with our standard shock absorbers and under standard conditions, they were satisfactory, as mentioned in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG14.1.26.

The reason we raise this point is that on the strength of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG14.1.26 we decided that we would supply well base rims and tyres to customers if they particularly required them, but on the strength of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}3/LG9.2.26 we have now cancelled that arrangement, as we should not like to supply customers with rims and tyres which are likely to increase the risk of front wheel wobbles, noise, etc.
