Sloping base for magneto and new clip. Origin. To make high tension distributor more accessible and to give more clearance for controls. Experimental Test Report. The sloping base and clip is an improvement over the present scheme. It gives more clearance for the control, makes high tension distributor more accessible and avoids the risk of breaking the lugs off the base. Road Test Report. Run 12,000 miles on 49 GB.
