Letter to Gallay Ltd. concerning test results and pricing for Bentley and 20/25 radiator matrixes.

Dear Sirs, As requested in your letter of the 5th inst., we are forwarding to you a sheet of curves showing the test results obtained on your Gallay type Bentley radiator. We have not yet completed tests on the oil cooler but will forward same to you as soon as they are available. We note in your letter of 17th March, that you quote as follows :- Bentley matrix - EB.518 - £4-5-0d. 20/25 " -ES.9595 - £3-15-0d. We are rather puzzled as to why the Bentley price is higher than the 20/25 when the former is a smaller matrix of simpler shape. We would mention that the Bentley price is approx. £1-5-0d. higher than we pay for the Marston Mark V type of matrix. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
