W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham Esq,
Rolls-Royce Limited,
DERBY.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

Replying to your letter of 28th July, we despatched 6 - 6.50/17 covers in the silent tread pattern to you by rail on the 16th July. These were marked for your attention.

Unfortunately, we were unable to complete the order for 12 before the shut down for the Fair Holidays owing to the fact that some of the covers did not meet the balance specification. These covers are to be despatched on Saturday 31st July.

I am having our Transport Department check on the shipment of 6 tyres and I will write you further when we have a report from them.

Yours faithfully,
INDIA TYRE & RUBBER COMPANY LTD.
