The above people are issuing an advertising leaflet which states that Mex spirit is used exclusively by Rolls-Royce. A customer has drawn our attention to this and wishes to know whether we consider it the equal of Shell No.1 Is the reason that we use this spirit more a matter of price than superiority ? p. Every car, before it is turned out, is tested with Shell No.1 spirit. The Shell No.1 spirit is certainly superior to Mex. By superior, we mean it has a higher flash point, and will evaporate more equally, completely. It is more uniform in composition and gives better results in carburation.
