Comparison of effect of gear ratios. Measure maximum speed and temperature attained. (a) 33 x 6.75 Fort tyres. 60 lbs/sq.in. (b) 19 x 7 U.S. Cord tyres 40 lbs/sq.in. 75 M.P.H. Std. all closed condition. Retard ignition notch by notch until temperature starts to rise. Note degrees retard from normal advance. Remove headlamps and spot lamp and see if any improvement.
