Spare parts.
-----------

Dear "Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}",

I should be very pleased if you would have a meeting, to discuss the supply of spare parts to our depot, and all the bits and pieces that we require to help us out of our bearing troubles.

I feel certain that you will appreciate that all the material we have called for is urgently required, and that on the other hand, I have got to be very diplomatic about getting cars in, so as not to upset customers by keeping cars in our premises longer than absolutely necessary.

I know that you are all very hard pushed for the material, but surely the bearing position over here warrants out receiving special attention.

Incidentally, when you decide to hold a depot meeting, one of the points I wish to lay stress upon is a rapid supply of spare parts to depots. This has been, for months past, one of the worst features of our organization.

I sincerely hope to have the pleasure of seeing you very shortly, and take this opportunity of sending you my very best wishes for Xmas and the New Year.

I am leaving on the 26th instant for the South of France, with our Phantom lll, and expect to be away for about ten days.

I hope that you have now got your new position well in hand, and that all is well.

Yours sincerely,
