E.A. Bayles Esq.,
Messrs. The British Insulated Cables Ltd.,

Nr. Warrington.

Dear Mr. Bayles,

We have had another failure of your latest ignition cable on our Phantom III Chassis in the customer's hands after running only 2,000 miles.

We are returning a sample of this cable to you for your examination. It would appear that our conclusions regarding this cable as a result of test bench work were justified and we say emphatically it is not as good as the cable you used to make two to three years ago.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
