Mr Nadin,

Re Undersheets.

The special undersheets fitted to owners request on car 1844 were, I believe, a success and R.D. did not think they were any noisier than our present guards ( we have not used such guards before because Mr Royce thought they might be noisy).

As such guards offer certain advantages in the way of mud exclusion and provision of large space for hot air to get away round flywheel and stream-line effect on outside surfaces, and smooth surfaces outside which may be easily cleaned with hose - I suggest we make an experimental set.

Such experimental set would require oil pump raising as was done on 1844.
