Re Steering Wobbles. X.457

Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} 15-1-14.

We attach herewith Mr Harkness's report on the above, which please return to us when you have read same.

Mr Wormald considers that if the statements contained in Mr Harkness's report are true it would appear that Messrs Hallam and Harkness are right in their contention that the low speed wobbles are not satisfactorily cured by the inclination of the pivots. This being the case the matter should be taken up seriously by the Exp. Shop. with a view to making further investigations in an attempt to arrive at the final solution of this trouble.
