Bailey - Chief Engineer} c.to EH. c.to Ms. /3512 Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}1/NJ27.10.19. Jos. Evans & Co. Ltd., Birmingham. Hereto attached is copy of letter from this firm, dated 25th inst. informing us that they have perfected and are manufacturing very special copper tubes which they consider are better able to withstand the vibration and strains which such tubes are subjected to in automobile work. Will you please let me know as soon as possible whether you consider it worth while testing some of these special tubes and, in the affirmative case, furnish me a list of the sizes and lengths of tubes required for such tests. In the meantime I have acknowledged receipt of Evans' letter and informed them that we shall probably return to the matter at an early date. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} Ltr.att. | ||
