Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of 2nd May and also for the sample seat fittings received this morning.

We should like to see a sample fitting of your Mark 111/6. The length of the straight portion of the tubing to which the fitting will be attached is 15 inches. We mention this as you may have a suitable standard fitting.

By having the two types of fitting available, it will enable us to decide which type we consider best suited to our purpose.

We should also like to have the comparative prices of these two fittings, based on lots of one thousand pairs.

We appreciate that it will be difficult to quote post war prices, and we suggest that the prices given should be pre war. This will enable us to make the necessary comparison.

Yours faithfully,
