X.2894 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. EPC4/T31.12.20. X.2894 - TUNGSTEN CONTACTS. We are sending you herewith one dozen Tungsten contacts electrically welded to steel rivets. These have come from the Fansteel Products Co. of U.S.A. for the purposes of test on our battery ignition. We attach also a copy of the instructions given by the makers for fitting these. Will you kindly have these fitted to six blades and screws of our standard battery ignition for trial, so that we have six trial sets. When these are completed, we propose running two of these on the bench and giving instructions for the other four to be placed on experimental or trials cars. EFC.
