V264a To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}20/KW.20.5.36. 4 1/4 litre Bentley Test. Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E.19.5.36. B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} was kept running to get some more information on bearings after the failure of the big end at 11,000 miles. We now have this information. We are proposing to get a figure for the efficiency of the cooling system on this car as we have had little or no experience on this point on the 4 1/4 litre engine, and then bring it home. We expect the car to be home for Whitsuntide. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
