I believe that the American RR. bodies are generally now lighter than most European bodies, but I think the somewhat better acceleration observed is due to the lower geared back axle.

A car more sensitive to any change in this direction than one would anticipate.

Their engines also have a slightly higher compression than British Sales agree to.

I am pleased to hear that the American production is thought to be so good. It appears to have been improving during the last two years.
