Superflexit Ltd.,
SLOUGH,
BUCKS.

For the attention of Mr. Trounson.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your quotation for 1" diameter and 3/16" diameter flexible tubing and also for the samples.

We prefer the appearance and protection against stones of the MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} tube. Do you consider that this would be fully satisfactory for 50 lbs. oil pressure?

Our standard thread for this size of union is .500" diameter 20 T.P.I. What would be the cost of the 3/16" tubing with these union nuts ?

We should also be grateful to have a drawing of the end of the nipple so that we can make our part accordingly.

For further test purposes will you please let us have 6 more samples of the MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} 3/16 tubing preferably with .500" diameter 20 T.P.I. union nuts.

We shall arrange for a covering order to be issued for 8 tubes which will include the samples we have already received.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
