re 35-EX.

Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E26.2.37

I asked Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} to speak to you on the telephone about the above and the report of the 20th.

He tells me that you say the brakes are absolutely standard. Would you refer to the specification Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/AP29.1.37. What I do not understand is - if they are absolutely standard why are items 15 and 17 listed and what about items 19 and 20?

In regard to Item 10, rubber spring shackles and rubber between axle and frame, is it possible that the former might have something to do with bad brake judders?

I remember specifically mentioning on more than one occasion that, when this car went to France, I was very keen that it should be tried over the same roads at the same speeds with and without the rubber spring shackles so that the effect of these on stability etc. could be definitely ascertained.

Has this been done, please?
