Complaints - Stromberg Carburetters.

There is a growing fault which must be corrected quickly.

On four cars recently in for carburetter fault, the choke valve has been found very badly bent, and the automatic air valve in a similar condition.

The only solution we can find is the tightening up of the bolt on the flange of the air intake pipe, or the setting of the control rod on the short side.

A die has had to be made to straighten the valve.

We are also very suspicious that Drivers are playing about with the floats. Several instances have arisen when the floats have been bent which could not possibly have become so, in normal use.

We are of the opinion that the float chamber lid{A. J. Lidsey} is too easily removed, would it be possible to seal it up.
