Dear Mr. Winter,

Have you got out of your valve spring difficulty ?

I would be interested to have details of your valve springs which gave trouble, including the material specification, so that we could check over whether from our experience the design is one which might be expected to be on the border line of trouble, or whether the failures are more likely to be from faulty material.
