to be absorbing 20% of the total engine output,
8 BHP. by rolling losses and 12 BHP. in transmitting
the power.

As the windage factor of the car is reduced,
and the speed at which the tyre functions is increased,
the effect of tyre hysterisis loss on the performance
of the car becomes relatively more important.

Therefore we think the matter is worth
investigation from your point of view.
