COMPARISON OF STEERING. X8430
EAC. AND HISPANO.

Work is being carried on satisfactorily.

46-PK car should be finished early next week.

93-NK car is dismantled - body and fittings are
at Sanderson's for repairs etc.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} is carrying out the Fan tests on 44-PK which
we hope will be finished today. We shall then carry on
with the other test - Exhaust - Clutch etc.

We have completed the tests on the Hispano Steering -
blue print attached giving particulars.

On Saturday morning, we tried a few tests with torque
reaction dampers fitted to 44-PK car. Tightened up and off,
very little difference could be detected either way, but we are
waiting for car to carry out further tests, meanwhile front
torque reaction dampers have been fitted.

I believe Mr. Coverley has already sent you report
in connection with the Steering tests.

Mr. Stent is here on the 4-speed Gearbox job -

20 HP.
