Dear Sirs, We have now carried out some tests on the latest form of WT.13 type horns. We find that these have a lower pitch than the standard (WT.11), but when tested on the bench and compared with same, were found to be definitely louder. These horns have now been fitted to one of our experimental cars for road tests, and are reported to be an improvement on the standard type. We have not yet been able to test these at high speed, but will do so at the first opportunity. We have on various cars, three pairs of the original WT.13 type horns and would like these brought right up-to-date. We are sending under separate cover, the first pair of these, and would be glad if these could be modified as soon as possible, and returned for the attention of the undersigned. We thank you for your letter of the 1st. inst., advising us of the despatch of two LRT.7 regulators, also for the technical data attached. We regret that there has been some delay in the testing of the regulators, but this has been due to re-organisation of the department, necessitating removal of the plant etc. We are now, however, well on with the testing of these, and hope to let you have some results shortly.
