I duly received your memo EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}19/F3.12.20. I beg to say that I have given strict instructions that a careful inspection must be made of the springs before placing in the Stores.

Furthermore, I think your suggestion that we should send you samples to run in is a good one, and have arranged that three springs shall be sent you from each coil for testing; the remainder should be held up until a report is received from you of same.
