RE. GOSHAWK 11. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.

We suggest as a modification to the instructions for handling the Goshawk when the battery is either out of order, or has been removed, the following:-

WARNING.

TO AVOID DAMAGE BY ACCIDENTAL USE OF CHARGING SWITCH WHEN THE BATTERY IS OUT OF ORDER OR DISCONNECTED, DETACH THE CENTRAL (EXCITING) WIRE FROM THE DYNAMO.

[Purple stamp text: RECEIVED 28 JUL 1923]

Explain more fully, and why, in the instruction book.
