Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}2/MA. 23.11.32. PROPELLER SHAFT SPLINES. YW37 We have now completed tests on propeller shaft splines sheving that we cannot get very much reduction in the apparent C.O.F. by hard or soft material. The differences so far recorded are such as might be due to inequalities of bedding or crudity of the testing apparatus. We shall try and get an average of several hardened shafts to compare with our standard production thereby establishing a better comparison. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
