Dear Sirs,
We beg to acknowledge due receipt of your letter of the 26th ultimo.
We at once put in hand a sample battery for you to test out as a possible substitute for the present standard Bentley 6-MHR{M. H. Rigby}9 battery. The type and number of the new battery is 6-XTHR9, and the battery will be delivered in a fully charged condition.
It would have been sent before this but for the intervening Whitsun holidays.
