We are forwarding to you a pair of driving dogs taken out of chassis B-177-CW, which have been hammered up at the Derby Depot 12.7.37, order number 81934, mileage then 20,000, now 29,108. The hammering up of these splines to get over drive rattle is not a good job, and, as in this case, the car has come in again for drive rattle. Oversize drives should be fitted, but these are difficult to obtain. Is there any other method to overcome this trouble other than the new driving dog?
