AUSTRALIAN SPRINGS.
------

With reference to the recent conference, and the proposals resulting from same, by which we were to produce two sets of springs for Pt. to try out on his car in Australia, the actual springs required are as follows:-

a/- Fronts.
------
One modification only was recommended for these, namely, a 15% stronger spring, to raise the front of the car .500", but since on 47-AU, the car under consideration, we have already fitted 1200 lbs. on one side and 1250 lbs. on the other, these being stronger springs and not stiffer, it is agreed that these springs are satisfactory.

b/- Rears.
------
Two proposals were made:-

i. 15% stronger, by which we will order two springs respectively 2300 and 2400 lbs,

ii. 25% stronger, with approximately 25% less deflection. This would mean special springs 2500 and 2600 lbs. respectively. To drawing F.77028/9.

OUTWARD: We are proceeding to order the rear springs in question, and will instruct same to be despatched to Australia.
