| (5). The Test Dept. should be recognised as the centre for all running information and should circulate useful information to all Service Depots as to how to overcome troubles and make the best of the products turned out and in service. (6). The Test Department will inform the Production Dept. of faults and suggest cures. (7). All final testing of complete cars at Provincial Coachbuilders should be dealt with by the Test Dept. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} will continue to take part as heretofore in conferences on engineering matters, and his signature will be required in connection with standardisation sheets. He will also keep in touch with the Experimental Dept. who may make use of his services in the running and criticism of Experimental cars. The reorganisation has the full approval of R.{Sir Henry Royce} CJ. | ||
