MARMON CAR CRANKSHAFT.

The general finish of the Marmon Crankshaft is very good. We give below sizes of bearings:-

Front journal bearing.

2.747" dia.
.00025" out of round.

Centre journal bearing.

2.747" dia.
.00025" out of round.
.0005" taper.

Rear journal bearing.

2.747" dia.
.00025" out of round.
.0005" taper.

Pins. The pins are all 2.510" dia. and about .00025" out of round.

We have taken a brinell reading of webs. This comes out as follows:-
