-2- Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 3/MJ.11.10.35. Cont'd. {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} have recommended for the 25 HP. then we can use the present carburetter control for the dampers. Another alternative is to use the PeregrineExperimental Bentley car never produced / Aero Engine type of controls which gives us four controls on the column and use the headlamp dimming control for the dampers which would still leave us with the carburetter control. The Bentley is another car which is crying out for adjustable dampers. We have found with the car we are running in France we have had to increase the damper loads considerably over those which are being used on the demonstration cars. With the wide speed range of the Bentley it is more than ever important that ultimately this car must have controllable dampers. We arranged with FH. that we would discuss this matter with him when we are in London next week so that a decision can be made. We have run 22-EX. car 5,000 miles with dampers as we propose to standardise them and we are continuing to run this car so that we shall be in a position to issue a standardisation sheet.
