To CWB. from BJ. BJ2/D2.3.26. Our Open Demonstration 40/50 H.P. Car pops badly in the exhaust whenever the foot is moved from the accelerator and the clutch left engaged, unless the hand-throttle is closed. A very large number of other makes of cars have not this fault. It seems unreasonable to expect every driver of our car, which has the reputation of being the Best in the World, and must maintain that reputation, to have to nurse his car in traffic and elsewhere by continually manipulating the hand-throttle to prevent the most annoying fault of explosions in the exhaust. What is your general experience of driving Phantoms as regards these exhaust noises please? BJ. | ||
