W., for Peregrine, alternatively called 'Bentley A.{Mr Adams}', we are informed that the weight of the whole of the coachwork, including all the accessories which travelled from London to Derby, as 7 cwt. 20 lbs. This is nearly 1 cwt. lessthan the weight we specified, and we think it does P. W. great credit. We would be glad if Derby would weigh the chassis before mounting the body as we want to avoid all possibility of unnecessary arguments as to how the total weight of the vehicle is distributed between the coachbuilder and chassis manufacturer. We have estimated that the chassis with spares and tools, should weigh about 19.5 cwts., in which case the total car will weigh 26.7 cwts.
