84523. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/MA.41.34. Re. Vulture Electric Petrol Gauge. We are not quite sure of the form of instrument the petrol gauge will be for the above chassis, so we are arranging to send the petrol tank to Smiths to await your instruction re the instrument. Will you kindly get into touch with them as soon as the tank is available and arrange for them to calibrate the tank, which is a 28 gallon one, to the gauge you have ordered. If the instrument patch is going to be exactly the same as the Bentley will you please arrange for them to calibrate for us a standard Bentley petrol gauge to a 28 gallon scale in conjunction with the above tank. The tank is urgently required back again, so that we should be much obliged if you would arrange for Messrs.Smiths to carry out the necessary calibration with all speed.
