O.T.Jones, Esq.,
Vacuum Oil Company Ltd.,
Caxton House,
Westminster,
LONDON, S.W.1.

Dear Mr. Jones,

Thank you for your letter. Our Laboratory are arranging to send you on loan (to avoid "red tape") samples of the steel and bronze used in our tests. We do not think it is worth our while to send a Chemist down to London as we are not primarily oil manufacturers.

I apologise for the fact that the remaining 'GX' oil has not been returned to you; this was due to an oversight and it is being sent to Wandsworth marked for the attention of Colonel Auld.

Yours sincerely,
