Temperature Tests on
Taper Condensers.
Further condenser tests have now been completed, the condensers, four in number used this time being as follows:-
1 Std condenser but with the ends sealed with synthetic (Sto) varnish. Marked S.E.
2 Std condenser but with the ends sealed with Stickilène varnish. Marked S.S.
3 Std condenser but with modified connections, wherein the tinfoil plate of the condenser is wrapped round the strip connector once or twice to obtain a better connection. Marked I.C.1.
4 Same as 3. Marked I.C.2.
As will be seen no improvement has been obtained by sealing the ends of
